The Stars & Stripes Developmental Academy is dedicated to cultivating young athletes into well-rounded, skilled baseball players. Through professional coaching, structured training phases, and a personalized approach to player development, we aim to enhance fundamental skills, foster mental resilience, and build a deep understanding of the game. Our mission is to empower athletes with the tools they need to excel both on and off the field while creating a supportive and engaging environment that encourages growth and confidence at every level.
During this phase, players will engage in focused infield, outfield, and catching drills designed to enhance proficiency in their primary positions while also learning a secondary position. Each session will last three hours, maintaining an energetic pace to maximize repetitions and deepen understanding of the game’s intricacies. To prioritize arm health, throwing will be limited initially, with gradual increases in volume each week. The curriculum will include not only practical drills but also team strategies, along with mental exercises and discussions.
In this phase, participants will experience live game scenarios featuring three pitchers and three hitters, overseen by an umpire and a professional coaching staff. Each pitcher will have a maximum of 60 pitches, rotating every two batters. Hitters will have the opportunity for up to 20 live at-bats per session. Coaches will be present to provide real-time feedback and necessary adjustments for both pitchers and hitters. Participants will receive written evaluations to help them focus on areas for improvement during independent practice.
